There are also smaller venues in the area including Café Eleven and Colonial Oak Music Park at the Colonial Quarter. Limelight Theater also offers musical entertainment, in the form of theatrical productions, as well as it’s renowned Music In The Box Series.
DAY 7 – STAYING ACTIVE
After a hearty breakfast from Hot Shots Bakery & Cafe on Cordova Street, head over to the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum. Built in 1874, the Lighthouse rises 165 feet above sea level and boasts 219 steps. It’s a perfect morning workout to take in one of the best views of the city and surrounding waterways. Next, head up to World Golf Village for a round on the King & Bear or Slammer & Squire courses designed by four World Golf Hall of Fame Members; Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Sam Snead, and Gene Sarazen. Other nearby courses include THE PLAYERS Stadium Course, Dye’s Valley Course, and St. Johns Golf Club. In keeping with an active schedule Salt Life Seafood Shack on St. Augustine Beach has come to
represent its own subculture of divers, surfers, fishermen, and anyone who loves the sound of surf and sand in their shoes. Popular dishes include the Seared Mahi Poke Bowl, and their famous Boca Style Shack Fish sandwich or basket. Have a blast in the afternoon with
an adventure high above the waves with
St. Augustine Parasail. Get a view of St. Augustine, Anastasia Island and Vilano like you never imagined. If you prefer to stay dry, Old City Helicopters offers a bird’s eye view of the city’s landmarks as well. End the day with dinner at Meehan’s Irish Pub & Seafood House as you watch and enjoy sailboats coming and going from St. Augustine Inlet and the city bayfront. Try their many specials from Johhny’s Oyster Bar, located upstairs.
